Are you passionate about your community? Do you want to  have experience in community organizing? This is the place for you!

Overview

This is a 4-month long unpaid internship program that provides educational and hands-on experience in the world of community organizing and activism. Apply your talents and expertise while developing leadership skills through hands-on practice. This internship will begin on January 13, 2020.

Requirements

  • Must be 14 to 27 years old

  • Available 1 day a week for four working hours, 1 family meeting a month, and 1 event a month

  • Available on the weekends

  • Access to transportation

  • Have a passion for service

Applications open November 25th, 2019 at 9:00 am

Applications close on December 20th, 2019 at 11:59 pm

Rounds of Eligibility and Elimination

One of the major reasons Lets.Give has been successful is because of our hardworking and incredible team. We select only the best individuals to ensure we achieve greatness. This application process includes two rounds. Only a few applicants will be selected to continue to the next round.

2nd Round - Group Interviews on January 5, 2020 (subject to change)

    • ​creating and incorporating culture, mindfulness, and the arts into all events

    • ​hands-on experience with managing volunteers, community outreach, and how to create an environment that is welcoming and inclusive

  • Marketing

    • ​producing social media content, merchandise, website design, and graphic designing

  • Finance

    • ​Commit to our team to be able to help  organize, audit, and maintain LG’s finances

  • Operations

    • ​analyze and improve organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency

  • Conscious Contributors

    • ​responsible for keeping the public informed about social and political current events
